KNCCI President Dr. Erick Rutto recently met with Mr. Walid and Mr. Nabih from the UAE Trade Center to discuss strategic collaborations ahead of the WCF Africa Summit, set to take place from April 9–11, 2025, at KICC, Nairobi.
Key Highlights of the Engagement:
✅ UAE Trade Center’s Participation: Active involvement in the WCF Africa Summit to strengthen bilateral trade relations.
✅ Kenya-UAE Trade Training: A dedicated session focusing on exports, digitalization, and trade best practices to enhance business capabilities.
✅ KNCCI Member Roadshows: A series of B2B meetings, project showcases, and site visits in the UAE to explore investment and trade opportunities.
✅ KNCCI Dubai Office Proposal: Plans to establish a KNCCI office in Dubai to promote Kenyan business interests and foster continuous engagement.
✅ “Made in UAE” Event: A promotional platform for KNCCI members to showcase opportunities before and during the April Summit.

Furthering the trade discussions, a key meeting was also facilitated between Mr. Mohamed Aburehman, CEO of ASCC Logistics, and Mr. Ahmed Farah, HSC, CEO of KNCCI, strengthening Kenya-UAE business relations.
