Earlier today, KNCCI CEO Ahmed Farah, HSC attended the Africa Business Ethics Conference.

The Africa Business Ethics Conference 2024 themed “A Brave New Africa: Business Growth in Times of Economic Turbulence” kicked off at the Villa Rosa Kempinski. This is a pivotal gathering for top leadership and management from across Africa to discuss issues affecting businesses in the turbulent business and macro-economic environment. ABEC was launched in 2019, becoming a key platform for dialogue and collaboration.

In her remarks, Fatma Elmaawy, the founder and convener of ABEC, urged delegates to seize the opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration presented by the conference. She noted, “Despite many obstacles, Africa’s private sector has demonstrated resilience and determination. Now, more than ever, the private sector must take the lead in transforming Africa’s future.”

Tom Shivo, Chief People Officer at Kenya Airways, added, “Ethics is not just about compliance but about fostering a culture where integrity is celebrated.”
