KNCCI President Dr. Eric Rutto, joined by Director Cynthia Nyawira were hosted for a business lunch by German delegation led by State Minister Manfred Pentz of Hesse, at Pull man hotel.Discussions focused on enhancing Kenya-Germany trade relations, valued at $0.43 billion in 2023, with Kenya facing a $0.171 billion trade deficit. Key areas of collaboration included affordable housing, agriculture, IT, AI, steel production, healthcare and logistics.Discussions also highlighted Kenya’s top exports to Germany:coffee, cut flowers, fruits, tea, and titanium ore and Germany’s top exports to Kenya: wheat, packaged medicaments, tractors, and cars.
Dr. Rutto invited the delegation to the WCF Africa Summit happening in April 9th to 11th, 2025 in Nairobi. KNCCI was invited to the International Development Conference in Germany from 21st to 22nd May 2025.Both parties agreed to explore joint investment and skills exchange opportunities.
