The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) facilitated a productive business collaboration meeting between Mr. Ekwali of Ekwali Nutrition Animale and Mr. Paul of Paly Chicks. The discussion focused on exploring potential areas of partnership in animal nutrition and poultry production. Both parties identified opportunities to work together, setting the stage for future collaboration.
In addition, a meeting was held with Strathmore University, chaired by Mr. Eric Saulo, the Director of Partnerships. The Mayotte delegation was represented by Mr. Daniel Subira, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce Mayotte, and Mr. Gigi, Diplomacy Representative. The discussions centered on fostering partnerships in education through exchange programs, internships, and university enrollment opportunities. Strathmore University expressed interest in hosting students from Mayotte, with plans underway to formalize the partnership. The first cohort of students is expected to begin studies at Strathmore by 2026 once the agreement is finalized.
