KNCCI team led by the Chamber President met with a GIZ-EU delegation as part of their scoping mission to assess MSME needs within the EAC and explore opportunities to boost regional digital trade.

KNCCI presented the iSOKO e-commerce platform, which facilitates MSMEs’ access to regional markets through a digital marketplace supporting cross-border trade, payments, and logistics.

The KNCCI Trust Seal, an initiative supported by GIZ PeCI, was discussed. It aims to certify businesses adhering to high standards of transparency and security, enhancing consumer trust in e-commerce.

The Chamber President also noted that the upcoming (ICJLR) meeting will focus on the development of a regional digital trade policy to support MSME growth. Additionally, the Chamber President welcomed the delegation to participate in WCF Africa Summit from 9th to 11th April 2025, further engaging in discussions on regional trade and digital transformation.
