KNCCI welcomed a delegation from the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce, led by Vice Chair Liu Jun. The primary goal of the visit was to assess Kenya’s business environment and explore collaboration opportunities between Jiangsu’s vibrant business community and Kenyan enterprises. Jiangsu, a key player in China’s economy, recorded a GDP of $1.8 billion in 2023.

Representing KNCCI, Mr. James Kitavi warmly greeted the delegation and highlighted KNCCI’s role in promoting trade and investment. He emphasized the Chamber’s dedication to connecting the delegation with KNCCI members to foster partnerships across sectors like manufacturing, agriculture, and technology.

Mr. Kigen, Head of Policy at KNCCI, invited the Jiangsu investors to collaborate with Kenyan businesses through KNCCI’s China office, stressing the need for information exchange to strengthen trade ties. He reaffirmed KNCCI’s commitment to supporting businesses from both regions.
