Collaboration between county governments and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry is essential in driving sustainable development and addressing trade and investment challenges. The partnership catalyzes innovation and economic development.

The Chamber President, Dr.Erick Rutto had a meeting with H. E Kimani Wamatangi EGH, Governor of Kiambu. The discussions delved on the developmental growth of private sector in the county .The Governor appreciated the genuine concerns raised by KNCCI.

He promised to involve the Chamber in its major activities within the county, with consideration of appointing the chapter directors to respective boards, modernize the business hubs by improving commercial centers and building modern kiosks.

Governor Wamatangi will incorporate KNCCI in enhancing the SMEs fund that will see micro enterprise access finances. Our Kiambu chapter is to be allocated office land by the County Government of Kiambu as affirmed by the Governor Wamatangi during the meeting.

He was accompanied by Dr George Karanja – National Director, Kihara Njuguna – Company Secretary,Steve Mbugua, KK Mutai, and Kiambu Chapter leadership lead by the Chairman Richard Ndungu.
