Courtesy Visit by Cuban Ambassador

This morning, the Chamber Vice President, Mr. Mustafa Ramadan, welcomed H.E. Juan Manuel Rodriquez, the Cuban Ambassador to Kenya, the Ambassador was accompanied by the 3rd Secretary Ms. Edisleydi Curbelo Garcia from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs Desk.

H.E. Rodriquez extended an invitation to the Kenyan business community for the 39^th Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2023), which is slated for November 2023 in Havana, Cuba. This global trade event welcomes diverse sectors and is anticipated to draw attendees from various parts of the world.The Chamber Vice President committed to mobilize members to attend the Havana Fair in Cuba and to implement the MOU between the KNCCI and Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba,

The longstanding positive relationship between Kenya and Cuba has borne fruit, especially in healthcare. Back in 2017, a reciprocal program was launched where Cuban physicians served in Kenyan county hospitals, while Kenyan medics journeyed to Cuba for specialized training.
