Last evening, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mr. Richard Ngatia led a representation of the business community to State House for a cocktail party held in honor of the Visiting Estonia President Kersti Kaljulaid.
During the Cocktail, H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta stated that the two countries are interested in; regional and global peace, seeing the multilateralism system work, having the private sector fully entrenched, in addition to creating jobs and opportunities especially for the young people.
As highlighted by President Kenyatta, Kenya and Estonia have succeeded in exploiting talents and skills of criticizes to build their economies through deployment of digital technologies.
The Estonia President, Kersti Kaljulaid committed that Estonia will partner with Kenya in pushing for global issues that affect small countries especially in areas of climate change, cyber security and peace.
Kenya and Estonia are members of the (UN) Security Council and this the Estonia Leader attributes to the countries adherence to international rules and regulations.
The two presidents have said Kenya and Estonia will partner in championing for protection of multilateralism on the global stage.
