KNCCI, led by Chamber Vice President Mustafa Ramadhan, CEO Ahmed Farah HSC, and Mombasa Chapter Chairman Abud Jamal Said, FICS yesterday participated in the Mombasa Port Community Stakeholders Engagement Forum organised by Governor Abdulswamad Nassir and graced by Senior Economic Advisor to the President, Hon. Moses Kuria, Kenya Ports Authority MD Captain William Ruto, and other leaders from the Port Community.

The theme of the forum was “Building Synergy Towards the Economic Prosperity of Mombasa County.” The Port of Mombasa is the backbone of our economy. As such, strong collaboration among stakeholders is instrumental in unlocking its full potential to drive investment, creation of jobs, and enhancement of trade efficiency and business competitiveness.

The Mombasa Port Community includes cargo interveners and inspectors, logistics service providers, shippers, trade and commerce associations, regulators, policy oversight, civil society, regional economic communities and development partners.
