Qatar Airways is set to expand its collaboration with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), reinforcing their shared commitment to fostering business growth and connectivity.

KNCCI CEO hosted Qatar Airways’ Regional Manager for Eastern Africa, Mr. Fadi Zuraikat, and Country Manager, Mr. David Otsula, at the KNCCI headquarters. Also in attendance were representatives from KNCCI’s Partnerships & Programs department, Matthew Maiyo and Ruth Ouma, alongside WCF – Africa Summit Lead, Ms. Rahab Muturi.

This meeting followed up on discussions initiated last year, focusing on the implementation of key partnership agreements. The strategic opportunities explored included:

  • Collaboration on the WCF Africa Summit (April 9–11, 2025, Nairobi, Kenya) – Strengthening Qatar Airways’ role in regional business engagement.
  • Corporate Travel Benefits – Offering exclusive travel discounts to KNCCI members, including all county chambers.
  • Event & Activation Partnerships – Joint participation in business events and industry activations.
  • Support for Member & Staff Travel – Facilitating access to international conferences, trade shows, and peer chamber meetings.
  • KNCCI Membership – Enhancing synergies between the business community and Qatar Airways.

Next Steps

To formalize this collaboration, both parties agreed to:

  1. Initiate an MoU outlining a long-term partnership, including an implementation plan with clear timelines.
  2. Qatar Airways to provide a strategic blueprint highlighting key partnership elements.

This strengthened alliance marks a significant step toward fostering seamless travel solutions and enhancing business engagement for KNCCI members.
