The Western Region Kenya-EU EPA Awareness Workshop, held at the Sarova Imperial Hotel in Kisumu, focused on exploring trade opportunities under the Kenya-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). PS  State Department of Trade, Dr. Alfred K’Ombundo, who officially opened the event, emphasized Western Kenya’s agricultural potential, highlighting its suitability for diverse crops, including tea and coffee. He encouraged diversification, value addition and collaboration between stakeholders to maximize export opportunities.
