KNCCI CEO Ahmed Farah hosted a delegation led by Major General P. M. Githinji, NDC (K), College Secretary of the National Defence College, at the KNCCI Headquarters at Telkom Plaza in Nairobi. The delegation comprised 14 students from various African countries, all future policy influencers and implementers, who sought to understand KNCCI’s goals, scope of work, and contributions to economic and policy development.

KNCCI CEO Ahmed Farah warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an in-depth overview of KNCCI’s mission to promote and facilitate private sector growth in Kenya and beyond. He emphasized KNCCI’s critical role in trade facilitation, policy advocacy, SME development, and fostering cross-border trade and investment opportunities across Africa. Highlighting its alignment with national and regional economic goals, CEO Farah shared insights on KNCCI’s efforts to empower youth and women in business, enhance market access, and navigate emerging trade challenges.

Major General Githinji introduced the delegation and outlined the purpose of their visit, emphasizing the importance of such engagements in shaping the perspectives of future leaders on economic development and policy implementation. The delegation actively engaged in discussions, posing questions on KNCCI’s strategies for addressing regional integration, youth empowerment, and sustainable economic growth.
