KNCCI CEO Ahmed Farah, HSC called on Amr Elbakry, Commercial Counsellor for the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Nairobi.

Kenya and Egypt have a strong and growing trade relationship with endless opportunities provided for under the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).

The discussions focused on growing Kenyan exports to Egypt, specifically on livestock, coffee, tea and fruits such as avocado, mango, pineapple for KNCCI members, and investment opportunities for Egyptian manufacturers in Kenya. The discussions also focused on Egyptian products accessing the Kenyan market.

KNCCI is committed to champion bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
