The ICGLR-PSF Conference, led by Dr. Erick Rutto and the ICGLR-PSF Executive Committee, concluded after two days of productive discussions focused on empowering the private sector across member states. A strategic plan was developed to enhance the private sector’s role and promote the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), beginning with opportunities across the 12 ICGLR member states.
As part of this commitment, KNCCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Angola Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This partnership aims to advance market intelligence sharing, as well as knowledge and skill exchange, facilitating deeper collaboration between Kenya and Angola.
Additionally, delegates from each state shared insights into essential partnership, collaboration, and investment opportunities, with a focus on creating synergies aligned with AfCFTA objectives.
KNCCI will support its members interested in these 12 markets by providing valuable market intelligence, helping businesses navigate and capitalize on the region’s integrated trade framework.
