Teams from KNCCI and the Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy (MoICT) visited BoldBird Marketing Ltd, where they were warmly received by the team led by CEO Gillian Malimu. This marked the second visit by the KNCCI team, led by Director Ken Onditi, MBS, and KNCCI Nairobi Chapter Vice Chairman, Ronald Meru.

During the visit, Director Ken Onditi introduced the iSOKO platform and outlined its benefits. MoICT, which facilitates the ICT sector in Kenya, has invited KNCCI for discussions aimed at enhancing the country’s tech industry. Key points raised during the visit included:

Challenges related to language barriers were raised, with BoldBird requesting KNCCI’s support for translation services. Additionally, communication skills were highlighted as a critical factor in staff recruitment.
CEO Gillian Malimu expressed her gratitude to KNCCI and MoICT for their visit. The teams were given a tour of BoldBird’s training facilities.
