Organized by the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) in partnership with TradeMark Africa led by Country Director Ahmed Farah, and the British High Commission in Kenya, the event featured prominent attendees, including the British High Commissioner to Kenya, H.E. Neil Wigan, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, H.E Demeke Atinafu Ambulo, the Ghana High Commissioner to Kenya, H.E. Damptey Bediako Asare, and the PS Industry, Dr. Juma Mukhwana.

Kerio Valley Development Authority, Air Asia, Kenya Airways, Buruk non-woven and crove unique tea, and Sheffield Green Solutions put up exhibitions to showcase what they offer in terms of products and services.

KNCCI Director Ronald Meru emphasized the importance of supporting SMEs to enhance their competitiveness in the regional market.

A situational analysis will be conducted to assess the readiness of Kenyan SMEs for participation in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), followed by tailored capacity-building initiatives.

During the event, KNCCI and the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) led by Acting CEO Tobias Alando, signed a $540,000 grant agreement with the British High Commission, facilitated by TradeMark Africa’s Regional Economic Development for Investment and Trade (REDIT) Programme.

Later on, the KNCCI Exporters’ Booklet was launched, and the event climaxed with a panel session.
