KNCCI President Dr. Erick Rutto and Vice President Mustafa Ramadan had a meeting with Eastleigh Business District Association Chairman, Mr. Ahmed Abdullahi Yare, to explore areas of collaboration.

The discussions centered on transitioning Eastleigh businesses from the retail sector to the manufacturing industry. It was agreed that the Eastleigh Business District Association, which consists of nearly 20,000 businesses, would join KNCCI membership, marking a significant expansion of the Chamber’s influence.

Both parties expressed excitement about the partnership and its potential to drive mutual growth. Additionally, they committed to jointly advocating for a better business environment, recognizing the critical role Eastleigh businesses play in Kenya’s economy.  Also in attendance was KNCCI Directors Omarsadiq Mohamed, Abdullahi Hersi and Hussein Jamaa.
