The Chamber Vice-President Mustafa Ramadan led a meeting with Amb. Joseph Masila, Director Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, to discuss the World Chamber Federation Regional Summit Africa that will held in Nairobi, April -May 2025.

In the broad discussions, the areas of cooperation between KNCCI and the National Government were deliberated on and agreed upon.

Amb. Joseph Masila congratulated KNCCI on the milestone and gave the assurance of full support from the government as the event, noting the alignment to its Vision 2030 objectives of promoting Nairobi as an Investment Hub.

Mr. Mustafa Ramadan spoke to the impact the Summit will have on Kenya, in terms of investments from the 4,500 High value delegates and tourism, and requested the state department of foreign affairs, to ensure an experiential summit for the international delegates.

It was agreed that the structure of the planning of the Summit will involve the State Department of Foreign Affairs, with other agencies playing a role too.

A follow-up meeting will ensue in the coming days. In the meeting were officials from the State Department of Foreign Affairs and KNCCI Secretariat.
