We had our initial engagement with Haco Industries Ltd on July 25, 2024, where they expressed several challenges that needed addressing by KNCCI. As long-standing members of nine years, primarily benefiting from the Certificate of Origin, they noted a lack of recent engagement from KNCCI with their business, leading them to postpone their membership renewal this year.

Today, we conducted a follow-up meeting to offer solutions to some of their challenges, particularly in creating marketing linkages in countries they are interested in, such as Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Mauritius.

We also had the opportunity to visit their factory to gain a deeper understanding of their operations. Haco Industries produces skincare products like lotions, home care items such as detergents and fabric softeners, and beauty products under the Miadi and Amara brands. A unique aspect of Haco is their in-house production of plastics used in packaging their own products, as well as the manufacturing of their distinctive Haco rulers and pegs.
