Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomed a delegation from the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Congress in China, led by the Deputy Director General Mr. Yang Guangting. The meeting was chaired by Director Kennedy Onditi, MBS.

The discussions focused on potential partnerships in several key areas, including market access, renewable energy, tea, coffee and innovation between Kenya and Shaanxi province. Director Onditi assured the delegation of KNCCI’s commitment to supporting these initiatives, particularly in facilitating connections with the private sector.

This visit highlights the growing interest in fostering bilateral trade and investment opportunities, with KNCCI playing a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Kenyan businesses and international partners. Present were Director Mutavi Kithu, Director Abdullahi Hersi, Director Irene Kirimi, Mr. KK Mutahi, KNCCI CEO Mr. Patrick Nyangweso and Maureen Macharia, Head of Trade KNCCI.
