KNCCI and KICC have enjoyed a long-term  relationship, highlighted by key activities such as the rebranding of KNCCI.

The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with KNCCI CEO Mr. Patrick Nyangweso and KICC CEO CPA James Mwaura leading the agreement.

Highlights:

  • KICC is a commercial parastatal focused on profit-making, not a regulatory institution.
  • There is a commitment to involve the youth in various activities.
  • KNCCI and KICC will partner with the County Government of Nairobi to offer SMEs opportunities to showcase their products and services.
  • Members to be encouraged to host events at KICC, located in the Central Business District where numerous business activities occur.
  • There are six upcoming KNCCI Women in Business events in which KNCCI expressed interest in partnering with KICC.
  • Interest in hosting the World Chamber Conference and the “Chamber at 60” event at the KICC premises next year.
