KNCCI hosted a team from FESTAC Africa, led by Chairman Yinka Abioye, and LREB CEO Victor Nyagaya at KNCCI Headquarters in Telkom Plaza. The visit was to brief KNCCI on the preparations for the FESTAC Festival, scheduled to be held in Kisumu from August 25 to September 1, 2024.

KNCCI Director Eng. Ken Onditi, MBS, praised the team for their efforts in ensuring the success of the upcoming event. He emphasized KNCCI’s commitment to supporting the festival by identifying investors, mobilizing MSMEs to exhibit, and involving business leaders, embassies, and government agencies.

Later, KNCCI, FESTAC Africa, and ViuTravel signed a strategic partnership agreement.

Other notable attendees included FESTAC CEO Amb. Dr. Grace Mumo, FESTAC Global Ambassador Amb. Dr. Ojiambo, FESTAC Secretariat member Mercy Wamoto, and KNCCI Head of County Programs and SME Development  Stephen Osedo.
