The Membership Committee Chairman, Mr. Said Ali, led the membership and advocacy teams to visit Simply Foods Limited, a corporate member operating under the slogan “Simply Health – Nutrition on the Go.” They produce instant porridge called “Uji Mara Moja,” which requires no cooking and can be instantly mixed with water or milk.

Simply Foods Limited primarily supplies schools to support school feeding programs and collaborates with other organizations to aid communities lacking access to nutritious food, thereby enhancing food security and sustainability.

In addition to instant porridge, they produce wimbi meal for ugali. All their products are made from red finger millet, which is free from aflatoxin and gluten. Their main goal is to promote millet awareness in Kenya and beyond.

They also collaborate with the Farm to Market Alliance to help farmers supply red finger millet that meets their standards. Simply Foods Limited looks forward to leveraging the Isoko platform to expand their business across East Africa
