As part of the MoU implementation,The KNCCI membership team conducted a visit to CPF Group archival and data centre along Mombasa road.The centre provides digitization and archival services for both government and private institutions.

The Data Centre focuses on promoting paperless record management solutions and is certified by the Kenya National Archives as the only gazetted archival centre. It handles documents like financial reports, which should be stored for at least seven years,for KRA audit compliance .

CPF implements a disposal schedule, offers digitization services prior to disposal, and utilizes OCR software to assist in data extraction and document search, as currently, 40% of employee time is spent on searching for records.

There are two storage options available: on-premise or cloud storage. Additionally, the archival system provides backup and disaster recovery services to reduce business risks

In line with the global trend towards digital and paperless operations, CPF offers services including storing, managing, and processing data, infrastructure for archiving, digitization, and maintaining data accessibility, as well as paperless office solutions.
