The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) has nurtured a longstanding relationship with Trade & Fairs East Africa Ltd (TFEA), spanning over five years. In a gesture of appreciation and a commitment to strengthening this partnership, Mr. Skander Negasi, CEO of Trade and Fairs Consulting GmbH, paid a courtesy visit to the Chamber President Dr. Erick Rutto. This visit aimed to express gratitude for KNCCI’s support during the East Africa Textile and Leather Week (EATLW) held in June 2023.

Furthermore, Trade & Fairs East Africa Ltd is set to host the 9th edition of the ASFW (Africa Sourcing and Fashion Week) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 3rd to 6th, 2023 November. ASFW is renowned as Africa’s largest trade show, dedicated to promoting the textile value chain in Africa. KNCCI will be provided with a booth to showcase products from at least five exhibitors drawn from membes in the textile sector.

In addition to this, both organizations are actively planning to host the 1st  Agriculture and Food Processing Expo, scheduled for October 2024. The main purpose of the event is to connect Africa to global agribusiness industry and promoting East Africa`s rich Agriculture sector as well as presenting international companies an unparalleled way to explore the huge business potential of this historic region.
