Championing skills development

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) in collaboration with Technical and Vocational Education and Training authority (TVETA) and the Nation Media Group (NMG) had a meeting to deliberate on the upcoming WorldSkills competition scheduled for 4^th -8^th September,2023.

The WorldSkills Competition plays a vital role in raising the status of vocational education, promoting excellence in skills, and inspiring young people to focus on skills especially in the industrial sector. The competition celebrates the achievements of skilled professionals and demonstrates the value of skills development in building a strong and competitive global workforce.

Skills development boosts economic performance, drives innovation, and enhances the overall quality of life. KNCCI is delighted to collaborate with Nation Media and TVETA to recognize the significance of skills development and work together to support and facilitate it.
