Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) and Trade and Fairs Consulting GmbH (TFC) have signed a memorandum of Understanding that will seek to recognize the challenges of agriculture, food and processing development in East Africa through planned efforts. This will exploit the opportunities for technology, innovation and modern approaches, which must be implemented to improve manufacturing and marketing on the African continent.
This event was spearheaded by the KNCCI President Mr. Richard Ngatia and TFC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Skander Negasi and witnessed by Chamber 1st Vice President -Dr. Eric Rutto, KNCCI Company Secretary- Mr. Kihara Njuguna and Area Manager Trade Fairs East Africa Ltd Mr. Frederick Buoga.
Trade and Fairs Consulting GmbH (TFC) is the official East and Central African representative of Messe Frankfurt (World´s biggest exhibition company) and other German trade show organizations of Southern Germany. The German trade show industry covers all industry topics and attracts millions of trade buyers / investors worldwide.
TFC Group which is Europe´s biggest organizer, has a branch called Trade and Fairs East Africa Ltd (TFEA, based in Nairobi) that organizes for trade shows & conferences within EAC countries.
By partnering with TFEA, KNCCI will expose its members in the agriculture, food and processing value chain to huge number of investors in the TFC database.
The two parties will work together under a joint partnership to organize for yearly East African Food and Agriculture processing Trade Expo with the first one scheduled for October 2022. The trade expo will attract both local and international investors.
This Food and Agriculture Processing Show will be the largest in East and Central Africa and most comprehensive Trade Expo, reflecting on professional strategies.
